Loveland, Ohio – Loveland High School has held its first “Lunch and Learn: Career Exploration” session in a series of events planned for students over the coming months. “The Ten Secrets to Nailing Your Interview” drew about 30 students for a session with Mr. Keith Lawrence, former director of human resources at Procter & Gamble and founder of the firm S-3 – Sustaining Success Solutions, Inc.
“This is a great way to enhance our career-education programming at LHS,” said Student Counselor Drews Mitchell. “We are really excited to offer the opportunity for students to listen to prominent experts in their fields. The first session with Mr. Lawrence was eye-opening for many of our students and I believe they walked away with plenty of useful and practical information they can apply when planning for life after high school.”
Coming up in December is a session on financial careers, which will be led by Alex Hesse, a 2014 Loveland graduate who currently works for New York Life Insurance Company. In January, Drew Dahlke will lead a session on skilled trades, and Marty Lopinto from Great Oaks will run a February lunch and learn about adult education.
