Two seniors compete to earn some of the $32 million in scholarships to be awarded

JonathanReeseHannahMatuszakLoveland, Ohio – Two Loveland High School (LHS) seniors are named as semifinalists in the 61st National Merit Scholarship Program. Hannah Matuszak and Jonathan Reese earned the title and the ability to compete for some 7,400 National Merit Scholarships worth about $32 million that will be offered next spring.

“This means these students are now proven best of the best for academic achievement in the country,” said Peggy Johnson, LHS principal. “This is the culmination of years of focused academic effort, and we could not be prouder of what Hannah and Jonathan have accomplished. A sincere congratulations to each of these students.”
